Frank Mitchell King, Jr., 73, of Inman, went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning July 31, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1948 in Spartanburg County, a son of the late Frank King, Sr. and Mary MaeBelle Broom King.
A US Army veteran, Frank was retired from Tietex Corporation and attended Inman First Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Susan King of the home; a son, Frank Mitchell King, III (Julianna) of Inman; 3 nieces, Nikki Rudisail, Kimberly Crapps (Jason) and Jakki Matthews (Scott); and several great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, 90 Blackstock Rd, Inman, SC 29349, conducted by the Rev. Andy Moore, Mr. Pat Bailey and Mr. Tommy White. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, with Military Honors provided by the Inman American Legion Post 45.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, 90 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC 29349.
