Frank Bagwell Jr.

Frank M. Bagwell, Jr., 62, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, August 16, 2021 at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg. Born February 22, 1959 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Helen Mason and Frank Matthew Bagwell Sr. and the widower of Debra Byars Bagwell.

In his younger years, Frank volunteered with Hilltop Fire Department. He is a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist. He loved music, reading and building things.

Survivors include his sons, Byars Bagwell of Spartanburg, SC and Frank Matthew Bagwell III (Haley) of Boiling Springs, SC, his grandson, Everett Matthew Bagwell, and his sister, Connie Nelson of Greenville, SC.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 1:45 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hilltop Fire Department, 1283 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
