Francis Marie Allison Johnson

Francis Marie Allison Johnson, age 88, of Moore, SC, passed away at her home with her husband, Bobby by her side.  She was born in Spartanburg, SC and was a daughter to the late Ephraim Floyd Allison and Carrie Ruth Hammett Allison Bradley.  

Francis was the loving and devoted wife to Bobby S. Johnson for more than 65 years.  They have two sons who survive Frances, Mark Johnson and his wife (Donna) and Timothy Johnson and his husband, Martin Sickles, all of California.  

Frances made a beautiful home for her family where ever her husband’s military career took them.  She was an avid reader and loved to grow flowers everywhere she worked.  She was a beautiful hostess and cook for every family holiday and gathering all through the years.  

Frances was a faithful member of the Vineyard Church of God and when she was in good health, sang in the choir.  She was also a youth choir and adult choir director in the past churches she served in

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, from 11:30 – 12:45 pm at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.  Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Reverend Roger Allison and Reverend Paul Allison which are nephews of Frances.  Her niece, Allison Williams will be a soloist.

The burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral.
