Frances Zimmerman

Frances Marion "Mrs. Frances" Wyatt Zimmerman, 67, of Inman died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 3, 1944, she was the daughter of Louise Bryant Wyatt of Spartanburg and the late Louis C. "L.C." Wyatt. She was a counselor at Charles Lea Center for thirteen years and was formerly employed at the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg where she was a leader for the 5th and 6th grade AWANA and worked with In-Reach and Outreach for her Sunday School Class, which most people will remember her calls and well wishes on their birthday and anniversary. She, also, was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, George Rowland Zimmerman; her daughter, Michelle C. (Chad) Morris of Inman; three grandchildren, Christian Cierra Henderson, Elizabeth Grace Morris and Matthew Everett Rowland Morris; a brother, Dennis Wyatt of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Barbara (Randy) Thomas of Roebuck; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 PM April 11, 2011 at Floyd Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at First Baptist Church North Spartanburg, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church North Spartanburg Youth Building Fund, 8740 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29316. Many may recall that Frances' favorite floral color was yellow. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home and Palliative Care Unit. The family is at the home, , 195 Zimmerman Drive, Inman, SC.
