Frances Waldrop

Frances Catherine Waldrop, 67, of Wellford, SC, formerly of Spartanburg, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at The Reid House in Wellford. Born July 30, 1944, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Lottie Louise Nicholls Ivey Guy and Marvin Woodrow Ivey. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, Thomas Earl Ivey of Duluth, MN; a sister, Nancy Harmon of Spartanburg, SC; nieces, Kim Schrieffer (Eddie) of Roebuck, SC, Lisa Boyles (Kenny) of Byron, GA, and Trish Powell of Chatsworth, GA; five great-nieces; three great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elliott; and nephews, Randall and Scott Townsend. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
