Frances Thompson

Frances Elizabeth Sisk Thompson, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, September 11, 2014, at her home. Born July 8, 1936, in the Converse Community of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Troy Wiley Sisk and Frances Irene Coats Sisk, and widow of Robert Ansel Thompson. A loving wife and devoted mother who lived by the Golden Rule, Mrs. Thompson was the bookkeeper for the family pest control business, Dav-Ken Exterminating Service. Survivors include her sons, Kendall Thompson (Khamla) of Townville, SC, David Thompson of Spartanburg, SC, Brett Thompson of Hollywood, FL, and Nathan Thompson (Chelsea) of Wellford, SC; grandson, Heath Thompson of Prosperity, SC; and sister, Shirley Hart of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 10:00-11:15 AM Monday, September 15, 2014, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon, in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385, conducted by The Rev. Traci Bennett.
