Frances Taylor

Frances Ellen McDowell Taylor, 84, of Jacksonville, FL, died Friday, August 15, 2014, at Heritage Crossings. Born July 24, 1930, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyd McDowell and Minnie Stephens McDowell Carden. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is her loving husband, Billy Taylor; son, Darryll Wofford (Deborah) of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Bryan Wofford of Carrabelle, FL; sister-in-law, Ruth Perkins (John) of Mississippi; and brother-in-law, Johnny Taylor of Mississippi. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Sean M. Wofford; and two sisters, Julie Huss and Lena McCullough. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 3600 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
