Frances Lou Case Queen, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at White Oak Estates-Spartanburg. Born September 26, 1933, in Landrum, SC, she was the daughter of the late Theron Leader Case and Nita Mae Campbell Case and widow of James Hugh Queen. She was an avid gardener and attended New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Samuel L. Queen (Cathy G.), Jerry N. Queen, and Kasey S. Queen, all of Spartanburg, SC; and son in her heart, Clyde Belcher of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Jimmy Queen, Benny Queen, Wes Belcher, and James Belcher; sisters, Mildred Rollins, Doris Floyd, Julia McKinnish, Alberta Baker, and Pauline Collins; brother, T. L. Case Jr.; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016, at New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Bob Buhl. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 200 Sloans Grove Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of her son, Sammy Queen.
