Frances Prince

Frances Gossett Prince, 80, a native of Spartanburg County, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at her home. Born August 8, 1932, in Whitney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Reaves Gossett. Mrs. Prince was a member of Ben Avon United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she taught young children in Sunday School and was a choir member for many years. She retired from Riedman Insurance Company as an insurance associate. Surviving is her beloved husband, Raymond Manning Prince; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Roy Suttles of Spartanburg; son, Russell R. Prince of Greenville; two grandchildren, David Suttles and wife Shelley and Jonathan Suttles and wife Lauren; two great-grandchildren, Graham Suttles and Emerson Suttles; sister, Joyce Daniel of Spartanburg; also a wonderful caregiver, Annette McDowell. A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 23, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, by the Rev. Jones Brewer. Visitation will follow at the cryptside.
