Frances Hughes

Frances Ann Strahan Hughes, 64, of Chesnee, died Sunday, August 16, 2009, at her home. Born November 10, 1944, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Haskel Paul and Hattie Lee Moorman Strahan. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Greene of Forest City, NC, and Tara Ellis of Enoree; two sons, Thomas Steadman and Eric Hughes, both of Enoree; four sisters, Neldra Keller and Paula Stapleton, both of Spartanburg, Gayle Strahan of Seeley Lake, MT, and Donna Miller of Coeur de Alene, ID; and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Amy Stapleton.
