Frances Hatcher

Frances McKinney Hatcher, 83, of Mayo, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born January 16, 1928, in Buck Creek, SC, she was the daughter of the late Bonner and Ruth Parris McKinney. Frances was a member of Mayo First Baptist Church and was retired from Community Cash. She is survived by her daughter, Fran Hatcher of Lake City, SC; son, Lon Hatcher and his wife Sonya Bolton Hatcher of Walnut Grove, SC; four grandchildren, Matthew and Jeremy Watts, and Abigayle and Benjamin Hatcher; and brothers Choice, Don, and Leslie McKinney, all of Mayo, SC. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kenna Hatcher Watts; sisters, Kathryn Royster, Susie Keeney, and Rebecca McAbee; and brothers, Bub and Luke McKinney. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2011, in Mayo First Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Daryl Tolleson.
