Frances Hammett

Frances Corn Hammett, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 29, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born April 21, 1937 in Glendale, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Helen Cudd Corn. Survivors include her son, Charles M. Hammett, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, her brother, Johnny Corn of Woodruff, SC, her sisters, Debbie Bowser of Inman, SC and Denise Figuroa of Jacksonville, FL. She was also predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Charles Miller Hammett, and her sisters, Charlotte Jones and Judy Bible. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Chaplain Andrew Fischer. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P.O.
