Frances Gregory

Frances Gentry Gregory, 81, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, April 28, 2012. Born September 29, 1930 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Marl and Mattie Taylor Gentry. She was retired as the Assistant Transportation Director for Spartanburg County School District 7 and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Lewis Gregory; son, Terry Gregory and wife Linda of Spartanburg; granddaughter, Meagan Long and husband Brandon of Greenville; grandson, Bradley Gregory and wife Melissa of Spartanburg; and great-grandson, Cameron Gregory of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by three brothers, William Gentry, J. M. Gentry, and George Gentry. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Keith Davis. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Zion Hill Baptist, 2817 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
