Frances Greene

Frances D. Greene, 61, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born February 9, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Wendell and Mary Louise Blanton Prayther. She was formerly employed with Thomas and Betts. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Jack Greene; a daughter, Tonya Lynn Smith of Inman; a son, Ralph Brian Greene of Boiling Springs; two granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Baxter and Courtney Danielle Greene; a grandson, Christopher Brian Greene; and a great-grandson, Bradley Baxter. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Louise Johnson; and a granddaughter, Crystal Tina Marie Johnson. Visitation will be 12:00-1:15 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. John C. Lancaster, Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
