Frances Fowler

Frances Proffitt Fowler, 80, was healed on Friday, November 23, 2012, and is now rejoicing in Heaven. Born June 10, 1932, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Buena Adair Proffitt and wife of 60 years to the late Joseph Joshua Fowler. She was a longtime employee of Ingles and a member of Green Street Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Joseph Scott Fowler of Spartanburg and John A. Fowler (Jeannie) of Taylors, SC; daughter, Jo Sharon F. Robinson (James D., Jr.) of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Jason Robinson, Jessica Johnson (Andrew), and Ryan Fowler. She was predeceased by brothers, Nathaniel Proffitt and Echol Proffitt. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Monday, November 26, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Fleming. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
