Frances Fortenberry

Frances Millwood Fortenberry, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at her home. Born June 2, 1930 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Tessnear Millwood and a widow of the late John David Fortenberry. She was of the Baptist faith and was a machinist at INA Bearing, Inc. Survivors include two sons, John Fortenberry (Rachelle) of Cave Spring, GA; and Kelvin Fortenberry of Inman, SC; a daughter, Dianne Aldridge of Spartanburg, SC; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson; two sisters, Shelby Johnson, and Phyllis Vandiver; and two brothers, Bryant Millwood, Avery Millwood. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Elizabeth Fortenberry; and two sons, Kevin Gene Fortenberry, and David Allen Fortenberry. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, June 23, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Jason Willis.
