Frances Claus

Frances Claus, 108, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Eden Terrace-Spartanburg. Born April 11, 1905, in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Antonia Shieff Tesar, and widow of Bernhardt Claus, Sr. She was formerly employed by MacAdams Haberdasher. Survivors include her son, Bernhardt Claus, Jr. and his wife Gerry of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren, Doug Claus and Hallie Claus; two step-grandchildren, Douglas Levereaux and Scott Levereaux; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eden Terrace Memorial Fund, 2780 E.
