Frances Broome

Frances "Franny" Aiken Covington Broome, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Windsor House-Spartanburg. Born December 10, 1939, in Thomasville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Philip S. Covington and Frances Aiken Covington. She was a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Gerald D. Broome; children, Gerald D. Broome Jr. (Pamela) of Jefferson, GA and Catherine L. Broome of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Adam S. Broome, Marcus S. Broome, Margaret "Maggie" Broome, and Jacob Broome; great-granddaughter, Callie Mae Broome; brother, Philip Covington of Washington, D. C.; sister, Catherine Miller of Lancaster, PA; niece and nephews, Laila Covington, Noah Covington, and Brian Miller. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Friday, August 21, 2015, at Nazareth Presbyterian Church Family Life Center, 680 Nazareth Church Rd., Moore, SC 29369 with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM, conducted by the Rev.
