Frances Boheler

Frances Earlene Strickland Boheler, 68, of Chesnee, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born October 20, 1945, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the wife of the late Dalton Rochester and daughter of the late Howard Earl Strickland Sr. and Frances Lancaster Strickland. She was a member of Chesnee Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by three children, Beverly Anderson (Jim) of Chesnee, SC, Tracy Dezern (Will) of Virginia, and Howard "Beaver" Rochester of Chesnee, SC; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Link (Michael) of Chesnee, SC; and four brothers, Curtis Strickland (Merle) of Wellford, SC, Howard Strickland Jr. (Diane) of Roebuck, SC, Michael Strickland (Carla) of Spartanburg, SC, and C. L. Strickland (Ellen) of Cooley Springs, SC. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Byrd. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James Childers and the Rev. Chris Gulledge. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of Diane and Howard Strickland, 3168 Carolina Country Club Road, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
