Frances Carroll Billings, of 120 Billings Road, died Saturday, June 13, 2009. Born November 27, 1928, in Rutherfordton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Grace Wells Carroll and the widow of Ray Callie Billings. A 1950 graduate of Spartanburg General Hospital School of Nursing, she retired as a Registered Nurse from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after 36 years of service, and was a longtime member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where she served on the Homebound Committee. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra B. Tucker and her husband Dean of Enoree, and Debbie B. Leapard and her husband David of Gray Court; a son, Eric Billings and his wife Becky of Enoree; six grandchildren, Christy Satterfield, Kim Rogers, Kelly Lancaster, Kevin Satterfield, Kerri Hembree, and Erica Moseley; three great-grandchildren, Tucker and Tate Rogers and Rylan Lancaster; and two sisters, Margaret Baber of Norfolk, VA, and Elizabeth Smith of Morganton, NC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Melvin Shelton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial may be made to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 2153 Mt.
