Floyd Wayne Sprouse, 70, of Glendale, SC, died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 22, 1944, in Pacolet Mills, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Albert and Mary Iva Lee Greene Sprouse. A veteran of the Army National Guard, Mr. Sprouse was retired from Nestle Foods and was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Among survivors are his cherish wife, Brenda Yuvonne Johnson Sprouse; sons, Kevin Wayne Sprouse of Lilburn, GA, Richard Keith Sprouse of Moore, SC, and Eric Dwayne Sprouse of Boiling Springs, SC; six grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Suttles of Pacolet, SC, Mary Sue Smith of West Berlin, PA, and Annette Erwin of Pacolet, SC; and brother, Tommy Sprouse of Cannons Campground, SC. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Sprouse. Visitation will be 12:00-12:45 PM Friday, January 2, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
