Florine Grant

Florine Pettit Grant, 81, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Dillon Pointe. Born March 30, 1931, in Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Clarence Correll Grant, and daughter of the late Ladd and Nancy Wood Pettit. She was formerly employed at Drayton Mill. Survivors include her children, Danny Grant and wife Penny, Roger Grant, Jean Everhart, and Angelia Smalley, all of Spartanburg; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Pettit of Iowa; and sister, Ophelia Millwood of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by her great-grandson, Dawson Perry; and brother, Troy Pettit. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, by the Rev. Timothy Hackett. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
