Florena Moore

Florena Smith Moore, 96, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 1, 1916 in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Queen Esther McKinney Smith and wife of the late Thomas Howard Moore. She was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Phyllis Emory of Boiling Springs; two sons, Thomas Ronald Moore of Boiling Springs and Gary Lee Moore of Inman; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glenwood Road, Spartanburg, SC. Flowers will be accepted.
