Flora Webb Clement, 82, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at RoseCrest, Inman, SC. Born September 1, 1931, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Bertha Robbins Webb. Flora was the widow of Max Clement and a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed her flower gardens and was a member of the Boiling Springs Homemakers Club. She retired as executive secretary at Arrow Automotive. Surviving are one sister, Betty Jo Cooley (Marshall); seven nieces; three nephews; and one special aunt, Ruby Hawkins of Inman, SC. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Webb; and two sisters, Doris Smalley and Eula Smalley. The family will receive friends 3:00-3:45 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren in Columbus, NC. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, at the church, with the Rev. Earl Byers and the Rev. Craig Scruggs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Cooley, Matthew Cooley, Joe Davis, Tyler Finger, Jackson Rivers, Jordan Rivers, and Jonathan Slattery. Honorary escort will be the deacons of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.
