Fidelis Hendricks

Mrs. Hendricks, 80, formerly of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of Windsor House West. Fidelis loved playing bingo, her computer, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved grandchildren. Survivors include her children: William (Marilyn) Hendricks and Dorothy Stadterman of Boiling Springs, Monica (Edwin) Duris of Inman, Robert (Wendy) Hendricks of Arnold, PA, Fidelis (Tommy) Anderson and Kathy (Larry) Holmes of Lower Burrell, PA. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, her beloved sister, Camilla McCabe of Redford, MI, and dear friends, Kathleen High and Jewel Adams of Windsor House. Fidelis was preceded in death by her husband, Donald V. Hendricks, her parents, Michael and Sara Ellen Fitzmaurice, a daughter, Mary Rose (Hendricks) Novosel, a brother, Robert Fitzmaurice, and sister, Genevieve Stepp. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will take place in Arnold, PA, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 161 North Dean Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
