Faye Scoggins

Faye G. Scoggins, 86, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 26, 1928, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Carl and Susie Dillard Johnson. Faye was very devoted to her Lord and family. She was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg and retired from Canteen Vending Company. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Eaker (Barry) of Lake Blalock, SC; sons, Eddie Vice (Teresa) of Oxford, AL, and Chuck Scoggins of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Lloyd Johnson of Spartanburg, SC, Olin Johnson of Lake Greenwood, SC, and Gene Johnson (Beverly) of Oklahoma; grandson, Josh Marshall of Spartanburg, SC; and great-grandchildren, Rylee, Corbin, and Dylan Marshall of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Marsha Marshall; and sisters, Nellie Bishop and Dorothy Vice. Visitation will be 1:45-2:45 PM Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Jerry C. White. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 1551 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303. Pallbearers are Shane Brown, Mike Lankford, Todd Horton, Matthew Horton, Tim Pickeral, and Tucker Hogan.
