Faye Bishop

Faye Elizabeth Bishop, 88, of Spartanburg, SC went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Lorenzy Herman Bishop and Effie Mae Jones Bishop. She is predeceased by her sister, Margaret Eloise Bishop and brother, David L. Bishop. Faye finished Pacolet High School and Cecil's Business College. She was working in the office at Montgomery and Crawford and in the computer billing department at Geer Drug Company for 38 years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church, Young at Heart, Roto and Yesterday's Teen's Choir, mission trips, and a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. After she retired, she and her sister traveled all of the states, several countries, and cruises. Survivors include her cousin, Michael (Katherine) Jones of Spartanburg, SC. Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Mission Fund, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. The J. F.
