Fannie Johnson

Fannie West Johnson, 77, of Pauline, SC died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 1, 1937, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late William Rufus and Della Brewington West. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Lonnie Baxter Johnson. A 1956 graduate of Roebuck High School, she worked as a manufacturing Supervisor for Power Pak and Raycord, where she retired. Fannie enjoyed her membership at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and was actively involvd in ministries at Trinity Baptist Church and West Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Crystal (Jerry) Simmons, Dale (Rev. Neil) Keisler; granddaughters, Marissa Keisler and Kristin Keisler; grandson, Wes Simmons, all of Pauline, SC; sisters, Maggie Johnson, Brenda K. Shaver, Martha Johnson and Helen Johnson, all of Pauline, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Melvin West, Elsie Ivey, Ruby Johnson, and Linda Faye West. Visitation will be 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Monday, March 16, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at West Springs Baptist Church, 4811 Buffalo/West Springs Hwy., Pauline, SC 29374, conducted by the Rev. Greg Black and the Rev. Jerry Ford. Burial will follow in the West Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
