Fannie Elizabeth Hogg Fowler, of Moore, SC, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born in Jamestown, AL, she was the daughter of the late Deed and Carmen Hogg. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Central Church of Christ and a retired lunchroom manager for Jesse Boyd School. Survivors include her son, Ike Fowler (Laura) of Moore, SC; grandson, David Fowler (Jennifer); granddaughter, Katie Smoot (Ben); three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise Price and Jo Ann Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Bryan Fowler; a son, Bryan Kelley Fowler; three brothers; and one sister. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Central Church of Christ, by Mr. Ernie Thigpen. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Central Church of Christ Building Fund, 2052 North Church Street Place, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A special thank you is expressed to her caregivers, Lauren, Jan, Pat and Joyce, as well as the staff and volunteers at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.
