Evelyn Westbury

Evelyn Owens Bacon Westbury, 88, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at White Oak Estates. Born December 30, 1926 in Pembroke, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Gordon Owens and Willie Mae Wester Owens Morgan. Mrs. Westbury was a retired Registered Nurse having graduated from the Warren A. Candler School of Nursing in Savannah, GA and a member of Inman United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Caggiano (Chris) of Spartanburg, SC, son, Jack Bacon of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Christopher, Maryanna, Nicholas, and Lily Caggiano; sister, Faye Waters (Rex) of Pembroke, GA; sister-in-law, Jewel Owens of Pembroke, GA, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Reginald Owens of Charleston, SC and Ralph Owens of Pembroke, GA and sister, Shirley Thompson of Jacksonville, FL. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Northside Cemetery, Pembroke, GA.
