Evelyn Tomberlin

Evelyn L. Tomberlin, 77, of Hendersonville, NC, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at The Elizabeth House. Born October 19, 1939 in Henrietta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Junior Verland and Clarene Gillespie Ledford. She was widow of Ronald P. Tomberlin. Evelyn was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Lynn Boyle (Donny) of Hendersonville, NC; sons, Vance Tomberlin (Maureen) of Forest City, NC; Kevin Tomberlin (Summer) of Tryon, NC; Michael Tomberlin of Tryon, NC; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Tate of Chesnee, SC; and a brother, Jimmy Ledford of Tryon, NC. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
