Evelyn Rice

Evelyn "Lynn" Moss Rice, 75, formerly of #2 Tennent Street, Spartanburg, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born July 25, 1935, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel Dobson Moss. Lynn was a paralegal for attorney Chester Brown for 40 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two sons, Steve Rice and wife Terry of Converse, and Randy Rice and wife Rhonda of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Cheryl Renee' Price and husband Tony of Lyman; grandchildren, Kristee Whitlock, Noel Price, Loren Stokes, Tyler Rice, Landon Rice, and Stacey Boyter; great-grandchildren, Kayla Whitlock, Chandler Rice, Haidyn and Jackson Stokes, and Lane Boyter; two brothers, Don Moss of Boiling Springs and Allen Moss of Colorado Springs, CO. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Moss. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Michael Boyter. Visitation will be at the graveside. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Renee' & Tony Price, 174 Northwood Circle, Wellford, SC.
