Evelyn Ruth Adair Lemmons, 76, of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at White Oak Estates. Born May 28, 1944 in Glendale, SC she was the daughter of the late Irma Willis Adair. Mrs. Lemmons was retired from Ingles Grocery Store on South Pine Street and was a member of Glendale Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Buford B. "Fuzzy" Lemmons Jr.; sons, Benny Lemmons and Kenneth Lemmons (Lori) all of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Lemmons, Nicholas Lemmons, Benjamin Lemmons, Danielle Zayas, Daniel Lemmons Jr. and Logan Lemmons, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a son, Daniel Lemmons Sr. and sister, Barbara Parris. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by The Rev. Daniel Blackwell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
