Evelyn Crawford

Evelyn Teaster Crawford, 96, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, February 12, 2017, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born February 28, 1920, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Otis and Nettie Beatrice Reynolds Teaster and widow of Thomas Jeremiah Crawford. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Company. Survivors include her brothers, Elbert Teaster and Howard Teaster, both of Goucher, SC, Paul Teaster and Glenn Teaster, both of Pacolet, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Clyde, Lawrence, Carl, and Loyd Teaster. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, by the Rev. Ralph Jett.
