Evelyn Bungarz

Evelyn Mae Marshall Bungarz, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Summit Hills-Spartanburg. Born May 23, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alf and Margaret Evelyn Mason Marshall. She was married in Brooklyn, NY, on May 27, 1950 to the late Robert Charles Bungarz. Mrs. Bungarz was a graduate of St. Agnes School in New York and attended The Episcopal Church of the Advent in Spartanburg. Survivors include her son, Dr. William Robert Bungarz (Beverly) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Barbara Frances Onnink (Johan) of Kirkland, WA; and four grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Bungarz of Charleston, SC, Rebecca Ann Bungarz of Spartanburg, SC, Christopher Robert Onnink (Katie) of Kirkland, WA, and Jennifer Aleida Robinson (Andrew) of Abilene, TX; and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Bennett Robinson and Connor Onnink. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, December 14, 2015, at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, by the Rev. J. Edward Morris and the Rev. Stephen McGehee.
