Evelyn Blanton

Evelyn Morgan Blanton, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at Inman Healthcare. Born May 17, 1932, in Stone Station, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Furman Morgan and Hanna Jennings Morgan and widow of Robert M. Blanton, Sr. Mrs. Blanton was a member of Woodruff First Baptist Church and retired from Woodruff State Bank after 38 years of service. Survivors include her children, Rev. Dr. Bobby Blanton, Jr. (Debbie) of Cornelius, NC, Lynn Blanton Newman of Spartanburg, SC, and Melanie Blanton Teague (Hopper) of Boiling Springs, SC; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one sister and six brothers. Visitation will be 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM Monday, April 2, 2018, in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC 29376 with a graveside service following at 1:00 PM, conducted by The Rev.
