Evangeline Grace Chambers, 4, of Boiling Springs passed away in her home on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Born on January 23, 2018, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Christie Lynn Chambers.
Along with her parents, she is survived by seven siblings, Jaycie Chambers, Charis Chambers, Aiden Chambers, Mackalla Chambers, Liam Chambers, Tristan Chambers, and Asa Chambers; maternal grandparents, Billy and Terry Robertson; paternal grandfather, Tom Chambers; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Mary Chambers.
Evangeline was born with Trisomy 13 and although she only lived four short years, she brought joy to everyone who knew her. Her name, Evangeline, means “good news” or “gospel”. Her middle name is Grace. She was a testimony to the Good News and grace of Jesus Christ. Christ died for our sins. Because of Evangeline, the Chambers family have had the privilege to meet many people and tell them the Good News of Jesus. Evangeline was the catalyst for this. She will be missed deeply.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Hope Point Church, 1185 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by Rev. Richard Smith and her father, the Rev. John Chambers. Interment will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
