Eva Suttles

Eva G. Adams Suttles, 82, formerly of 705 Alberta Ave., Spartanburg, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born June 9, 1929, in the Sulphur Springs community of Rutherford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lurena Green. She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Clayton Adams, and her second husband Thurston Suttles. Eva was retired from Milliken and Company, a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and the longtime social director with Parents Without Partners. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Adams Curtis of Ormond Beach, FL; her son, Larry Clayton Adams (Joy) of Boiling Springs, SC; five grandchildren; and two brothers, John Green of Cooley Springs, SC, and Billy Green of Corpus Christi, TX. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, June 17, 2011, in Sunset Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case.
