Eunice Evelyn Lowe Parton

Eunice Evelyn Lowe Parton, age 92, of Cowpens, formerly of Converse, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at home. She was born on April 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Ralph and Ethel Hughey Lowe.

She was a member of the Horton Memorial Baptist Church. Evelyn was a Christian lady, a loving wife and mother, who truly loved her family. She loved cooking holiday meals for her family. Evelyn loved yard sales, planting flowers and pulling weeds, and the beach home where she loved to fish for flounder with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, C. R. Parton, Jr. with whom she shared 74 years of marriage; a daughter, Elaine Parton Watkins of Murrells Inlet, SC; two sons, John Edward Parton of Spartanburg, David L. Parton of Rutherfordton, NC; three sisters, Marjorie L. Crocker of Cowpens, Gail L Tucker of Cowpens and Evona L. Jeffcoat of Mayo; two brothers, Leon Lowe of Chesnee and Roger Lowe of Mayo; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Evelyn was predeceased by three sons, Alan Wayne Parton, Terry L. Parton, and Charles R. Parton; three sisters, Catherine L. Vickers, Omajean L. Wallace and Diane M. Sprouse; two brothers, R. E. Lowe and Warren Lowe.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

Flowers will be accepted.
