Eunice Coggins

Eunice M. Coggins, 86, of Spartanburg, formerly of 831 Old Converse Road, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at Valley Falls Terrace. Born June 24, 1924 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Ervin and Lenoir Hammet Arthur and the wife of the late Paul H. Coggins. She was a member of Cannon's Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Hawkins; a son, Ervin Coggins; a brother, Leon Arthur, all of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Amanda Mae Harrelson and husband Joey of Spartanburg and Miranda Dawn Rochelle and husband Brent of Cowpens; and two great-grandchildren on the way. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Clyde Arthur; a son-in-law, Kenneth Hawkins; and a daughter-in-law, Wanda G. Coggins. Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Thursday, October 21, 2010 Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. James W. Ivey. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
