Eunice Brown

Eunice Melinda Chapman Brown, 91, of Madison, OH, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Madison Health Care with her granddaughter, Debbie, at her side. Born August 5, 1921, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Etta Smith Chapman. Surviving are her children, James Mitchell (Linda) of Indian Land, SC, Diane Yeary (Bruce) of Lyman, SC, and Elaine Atkinson (J. D.) of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren, Debbie, Jeffrey, Laura, Susan, Linda, Brenda, Cheryl, Tracy, Dorinda, and Tonya; a number of great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lily Mae Jackson of Greenville, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Hazel Horner; granddaughter, Judy; three brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2013, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Harold King.
