Eula Holt Seagle, 92, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at her home. Born February 8, 1921 in Marshall, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Lewis and Hattie Connor Holt and the wife of the late Claude Woodrow Seagle. Mrs. Seagle was formerly employed with Drayton and Whitney Mills as a spool handler. She was a member of Drayton Baptist Church for 60 years and was an avid quilter, providing quilts for all of her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Cecil W. Seagle (Peggie) of Indianapolis, IN and Roy W. Seagle (Barbara) of Chesnee, SC, daughters, Pat Sherbert (Joe) of Spartanburg, SC and Brenda Cash (Howard) of Drayton, SC, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Cecil Keith, and James Bruce Holt, sisters, Beulah Curtis and Faye Lavender, and grandson, Bronson Durham. Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:45 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following at 12:00 PM in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Cecil W. Seagle, the Rev. Dr. Mark Seagle, and the Rev. Donnie Seagle. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
