Eula P. Arrington

Eula P. Arrington, 85, of Chesnee, SC, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at her home. Born July 15, 1938 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wade Gibson Powell and Marie Grigg Powell.

Eula was a lifelong member of Sandy Springs First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.

She loved reading her bible, gardening, and taking care of her flowers. A loving wife, Mama, and Nanny, she will be missed greatly by all her family.

Survivors include her sweet husband of 67 years, Harold Arrington of the home; her son, Craig Arrington (Denise) of Chesnee; her grandsons, Chase Arrington, Zachary Arrington, Colt Tunstall, all of Chesnee; her granddaughter, Casey Tunstall of Melborne, FL; and twin sister, Beulah Turner of Chesnee. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Tunstall, and her siblings, Harold Powell, Odie Powell, Edward Powell, Jeanette Moffitt and Velma Harrelson.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sandy Springs First Baptist Church, 382 Sandy Springs Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the church, conducted by The Rev. Terrell Dillingham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
