Euial Ivey

Euial Jack Ivey, 85, of 95 Euial Drive, entered into eternal peace at his home on February 22, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents, Luther and Tura Ivey; and brother, Louis Ivey. Mr. Ivey was a Seaman First Class in the Navy and was a dedicated employee of Pickens Roofing for 53 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his cherished wife, Geraldine Patton Ivey of 59 years; brothers, Frank Ivey, Joe Ivey (Miriam); sisters, Myrtle Easler, Trennie Mangan; daughter, Sonja Melton (Jerry); son, Mike Ivey (Robin); loving grandchildren, Jerome Williams, Eric Gowan, Amanda Ivey, Shanna Wall (Jeremy); and nine great-grandchildren. The family will be at the home. Visitation will be at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel from 1:30-2:30 PM Friday, February 24, 2012. Services will follow at 3:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 430 Roper Mountain Road, Suite E, Greenville, SC 29615.
