Eugene Epley, Sr.

Eugene Robert Epley, Sr., 77, of 7527 Valley Falls Road, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born May 1, 1932, in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late William Roy Epley, Sr. and Gladys Sherman Epley. He was retired from Tindal Concrete and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Doris Cook Epley; a son, Eugene "Gene" R. Epley, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Spartanburg; a sister, Lorraine Stauffer of Camden, NJ; a granddaughter, Kaci Epley; a grandson, Corey Epley; and a great-granddaughter, Arielle Epley. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Brandy Epley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 104 Garner Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
