Ethelou Goforth

Ethelou Strickland Gosnell Goforth, 85, of Spartanburg died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 26, 1925 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Mary Gosnell Strickland and wife of the late Charles W. Goforth. She was first married to the late Clint E. Gosnell. She was retired from Mayfair Mills. Survivors include two sons, David (Jacquelyn) Gosnell of Locust Grove, GA and Ricky (Pam) Gosnell of Pacolet; a daughter, Cindy Caiazzo of Wellford; three sisters, Eunice Kneisley of Inman, Aileen Roddy of Duncan, and R. V. Sanford of Chesnee; two brothers, D. J. Strickland of Whitney and Perry Strickland of Inman; three granddaughters; a grandson; a great-grandson; and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Gowan, and a brother Crayton Strickland. Visitation will be 10:00 - 10:45 AM Monday, November 8, 2010, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Chapel. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
