Estelle Ethel Green Bell, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. Born April 6, 1917, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Hazel Phillips Green and widow of Arthur Andy Bell. A member of Whitney United Methodist Church (now Gravely United Methodist Church), she was retired from Butte Knit. Survivors include her son, Michael L. Bell (Sheila) of Campobello, SC; brother, William "Bill" Green of Boiling Springs, SC; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; ; daughter-in-law, Edna F. Bell of Boiling Springs, SC; one niece; and one nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Henry Bell. A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Scott S. Gilmer. Visitation will follow at the cryptside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302 or online at www.alz.org.
