Emmie Allison

Emmie Sigmon Allison, 91, of Una died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 11, 1920 in Marion, NC, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Isabelle Griffin Sigmon and wife of the late Paul Allison. Mrs. Allison was first married to the late Ralph Carson Bailey. She was a member of Carolina Drive Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Evelyn Helms of Una, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Jimmy Bailey and Eugene Bailey. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Monday, May 28, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Keith Taylor. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
