Emma Mcbride

Emma Foster McBride, 94, of Greenwood, formerly of Pacolet, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Magnolia Manor. Born May 3, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Columbus and Florence Rook Foster, and wife of the late Creed McBride. Mrs. McBride attended Pacolet Mills Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Guyton and her husband Penny of Pacolet, and Corine Kingsmore and her husband Charles of Greenwood; a son, Jimmy L. McBride and his wife Lena of Spartanburg; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Michael McBride. Visitation will be 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM Friday, February 25, 2011 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Shook. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
