Emma Lois Finch

Mrs. Emma Lois Cartmill Finch, 82, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at her home. She was a native of Pasadena, TX., she was born on August 25, 1941, a daughter of the late Dot Arnold and Bernice Peterson Cartmill.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She served with her husband as missionaries since 1977.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, William (Bill) Alfred Finch; sons, Joel Edward Finch (Jane) of Clovis, New Mexico, Darel Duane Finch (Lynne) of Spartanburg and Jon Gregory Finch (Dorothy) of Soddy Daisy, TN.; brother, Erastus Cartmill of Federal Way, WA.; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church, 390 Wingo Heights Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Shawn Rhinehart. Burial will at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at MJ (Dolly) Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist World Misson, PO Box 2149, Decatur, AL. 35602-2149 marked for Kenya Bible project (Mrs. Emma Finch Memorial).
